Meet Elizabeth
Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Columbus, Ohio. I work with thoughtful, high-functioning adults and couples who may look like they’re holding it together on the outside, but internally feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.
Many of my clients are self-aware and deeply reflective. They’re often used to being the responsible one, the helper, or the person others rely on. Therapy offers space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin shifting patterns that may have been in place for a long time.
My style is warm, engaged, and relational. I won’t just sit back and nod. I’ll help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, notice patterns you may not have seen before, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Training, Background & Approach
My background includes experience in community mental health, school-based settings, and private practice, where I’ve supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, and self-worth.
My work is relational, insight-oriented, and tailored to each client. I draw from Gestalt therapy, attachment-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems-informed work, and the Gottman Method. I have also completed Gottman Level 1 Training and continue to deepen my work through ongoing consultation and professional development.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with you to understand the patterns, emotions, and relationship dynamics that may be keeping you stuck, while also helping you build new ways of responding with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
